Leadership Development Steering Team
This Steering Team is responsible for the implementation and direction of the Presidential Leadership Development Programs. The President’s Leadership Academy will equip current leaders at HCC with an increased acumen in executive function. Leadership HCC will prepare emerging and mid-level leaders with the skills needed to advance their career and influence at HCC.
Student Success Steering Team
This Steering Team will focus on Accelerated Pathways to Success, the transition from developmental to Corequisite Education, and efforts to increase student retention and completion.
WCCE Steering Team
This Steering Team will drive the integration of Workforce, Career, and Community Education students and programs into the existing systems and processes shared across the institution.
Task Forces
Accelerated Pathways Task Force
The Accelerated Pathways Task Force is responsible for expanding, refining, and institutionalizing the 7-week course model at HCC. This group will coordinate faculty development, student support alignment, modality strategy, and advising enhancements to strengthen accelerated learning options and ensure sustainable growth across programs.

Retention & Completion Task Force
The Retention & Completion Task Force leads the development of a comprehensive, institution-wide retention strategy focused on persistence, progression, and completion. This group integrates academic support, advising, proactive interventions, and communication strategies to advance HCC’s North Star goal for student success.
Strategic Scheduling Task Force
The Strategic Scheduling Task Force leads the development and implementation of a year-long scheduling model at HCC. This group is responsible for designing course sequencing strategies, aligning program pathways, improving course predictability, and building operational readiness for institutional rollout.
WCCE Program Alignment Task Force
The WCCE Program Alignment Task Force leads the development of strategies that connect WCCE non-credit programs with credit-bearing academic pathways at HCC. This group is responsible for creating articulation opportunities, aligning curriculum where appropriate, fostering faculty collaboration, and optimizing the use of institutional resources across both areas.
WCCE Student Integration Task Force
The WCCE Student Integration Task Force leads the alignment of Workforce, Career, and Community Education (WCCE) student services, enrollment, and support processes with HCC’s credit-bearing student experience. This group focuses on creating seamless systems, access to resources, and communications that reflect a unified college environment for all students.
